Get ready to watch another explosive Tamil movie “Valmiki” slated to release in theaters on September 20, 2019.
The film stars Varun Tej and Zarine Khan in their respective pivotal roles. The first trailer of the film has been released that looks promising. By looking at the trailer in the first glance, it seems you can’t skip going to theaters to watch all the action going on.
Before moving further, let’s update you more about the film. Valmiki that happens to be the remake of Tamil blockbuster Jigarthanda, originally released on August 1, 2014 itself. After looking at the success of this film, the makers decided to remake the film.
Valmiki is going to be a bit different and s basically a gangster comedy film directed by none other than Harish Shankar. It’s produced by Achanta Gopinath, Achanta Ramu under 14 reels. The Tamil language film stars Atharvaa Murali, Pooja Hegde and Varun Tej in their lead roles.
As we stated earlier, Valmiki is the remake of Tamil blockbuster film Jigarthanda, it is loaded with a plethora of action sequences. In the Tamil version of the film, you will see all the action from Lakshmi Menon, Bobby Sinha and Siddharth in their lead roles.
Jigarthanda had a positive impact on the mind and soul of the audience. And perhaps, this is the reason why the film had managed to receive awards in the category of best editing and supporting roles (Bobby Sinha).
Coming back to the Valmiki trailer that displays a lot in the middle. It starts off with a few ladies who are busy watching a movie. Suddenly, they start commenting and complaining regarding the scarcity of films they are able to watch along with their families.
Soon after this, Artharvaa Murali comes into the picture who plays the role of the director. He promises the audience to make a highly entertaining film that they can all watch along with their families without any issues.
Earlier, director Harish chose to share a picture on his Twitter account and also revealed the name of the character of Varun Tej in the film. He wrote, “I just finished the theatrical trailer final cut and like to introduce @IAmVarunTej as none other than “Gaddala Konda Ganesh”. Feeling super excited to share the trailer to you guys very soon…”
