A recent trademark filing suggests that the second expansion for Starfield might be named ‘Starborn’.
This discovery, made by Twitter user Timur222, shows the trademark was filed on July 12, 2024, and is registered to ZeniMax Media Inc.
To provide context, Starborn are individuals who have believe in the Unity, enabling them to move between different universes. As per In the game’s narrative, they unleash themselves to Constellation right after the Spacefarer has gathered enough Artifacts.
Trademarks Hint At ‘Starborn’ Being the Next Expansion for Starfield
There’s no set release date for Starfield’s Starborn, as players are still anticipating a specific launch date for the first DLC, Shattered Space. Shattered Space has already been unveiled before Starfield and is featured in the game’s Premium Edition.
The Starborn DLC for Starfield is initially set for a 2025 release. Starfield has garnered an 83 rating on Metacritic for the Xbox Series X version along with an 85 for the PC version.
