Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Thalaivi‘ has started paving ways into the audience’s mind and souls as they have started showering their love to the film. The much anticipated biopic is actually based on the life of the former actress turned politician J Jayalalithaa.
The latest buzz about the film is that a song of the film titled ‘Chali Chali’ was recently released to which the audience reacted positively. It’s directed by AL Vijay. The song basically depicts the early life journey of the late actor turned politician.

The song ‘Chali Chali’ was launched for the first time by a South actress Samantha Akkineni. After getting positive vibes from the audience regarding the freshly released song, this is what Kangana tweeted, “Thank you for giving so much love to Chali – chali, lot of Hindi speaking people asking was Jayaa maa so beautiful in her debut song? Well I am not a patch on her, here is her debut song link, Chali chali is fashioned after ammmamma kaatru have a look.”
After the song was released, it also featured Kangana dancing on the sets. Reacting on the film getting positive feedback from the audiences, Kangana said that she was confident regarding the film’s success from the very beginning.
In an interview that was held recently, the actress had disclosed that she was always hopeful that the screening of ‘Thalaivi’ would bring the audience back to theaters. As the film is based on the life events of J Jayalalithaa, it mainly depicts her life journey throughout her career.
Due to the worse situation of Covid-19 pandemic in the country, the last year has been bad for the cinema industry. Due to this many films were postponed to an unlimited time.
Now, the situation is that many producers have again opted out to postpone their films amid coronavirus cases started surging afresh.
