After the release of his son’s debut film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019), Sunny made a pivotal decision. “I told myself, ‘I’m not doing anything else. I just want to act.’ That’s when things started to shift.

When discussing Gadar 2, Sunny Deol shared that the idea of making a sequel to the beloved cult classic initially raised doubts. “The first film was so adored. What if we ended up ruining what people cherished?” he recalled. 

Sunny Deol reflected on his career with unwavering confidence, saying, “Insecurity never held me back. If something doesn’t work, I just shift focus and try again. I always knew that eventually, I’d get another shot.” He also acknowledged the changing industry landscape. “People said action films wouldn’t do well in multiplexes, and perhaps that led to fewer roles for me. But I never stopped believing in my potential. I’m not one to quit—if a door closes, I’ll find another way in,” he shared.
