Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan are going to be a part of a mythological film ‘Ramayana’. They will play the role of Rama and Ravana respectively in the epic story to be directed by Nitesh Tiwari in his web series.
Ramayana will be produced by Madhu Mantena and will be a 3 film trilogy having a budget of Rs 750 crore. In the film, both Ranbir and Hrithik will be paid Rs 75 crore each.
The source says the rest of the budget will go to the making of such a kind of staggering epic story like Ramayana that never took place in the history of mythological films.
But there is a slight glitch makers are facing right now. Although, it has been decided that Ranbir and Hrithik are playing the roles of Rama and Ravana respectively, Sita is yet to be found for the completion of the above project.
Earlier, there were reports advocating Kareena Kapoor playing the role of Sita, but they later proved to be false. This is what the source had to say, “They were planted by her marketing team. Kareena for all her talent, doesn’t suit the part at all,” it said.
It’s known that Saif Ali Khan has now been cast Ravana in another project titled Adipurush that will be directed by Om Raut.
