While reminiscing his early experiences on film sets with his father, legendary actor Biswajeet Chatterjee, Prosenjit recalled a funny incident with Sharmila Tagore.

A Scene Misunderstood

“I believe it was with Sharmila Aunty,” Prosenjit said. “I was on set for a scene where she had to slap my father (Biswajeet Chatterjee) during an emotional moment between the hero and heroine.”

A Child’s Reaction

“I was a 5 year old kid at that time and was even acting as a child artist. It all happened during a lunch break when she called me and took me to her lap, and I slapped her. When I meet her even today, she reminds me that very moment. She said you slapped me after you sklapped my dad.”
