Prakash Jha Looks All Set to Helm the Biopic of Former Prime Minister of India, PV Narasimha Rao
The upcoming web series “Half Lion” will bring attention to the often-overlooked accomplishments of former Prime Minister Narasimha Rao in post-Independence India.
The series, which is based on Vinay Sitapati’s book of the same name, aims to highlight Rao’s significant contributions. Renowned director Prakash Jha, known for his insightful work on socio-political topics, will direct this project.
Jha has previously directed films such as “Gangaajal,” “Apaharan,” “Rajneeti,” “Aarakshan,” and the recent critically acclaimed series “Ashram.” The series is expected to be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil in the second half of this year.
The casting of Narasimha Rao is a topic of great interest. A number of distinguished actors, such as Amitabh Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah, Paresh Rawal, and Anupam Kher, are being considered for the role.
