It all happened because Goodra which is not so significant in terms of perfect rivalary are known to appear in Tera Raid dens late November.

After this announcement, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players won’t be having much time left to catch and battle Goodra the Unrivaled. It will all happen considering in mind that Dragon Pokemon will have a part of tricks for trainers.

You might be wondering about Goodra in Pokemon X and Y. Well, it is basically a kind of monster which is not real in the game.

In other words, Goodra can be classifed as a pseudo monster residing in the Kalos region. Further, Goodra has been named so because of its Dragon-type critter. It has been evolved directly from Sliggoo and appears in the rainy season.

Please also note that Sliggoo and Goodra both debut Hisuian regional forms in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, where they gain Steel as an additional type. In real terms, Goodra has been classified to be a kind of mixed attacker and is equipped with a tough defence system. It’s loaded with its dangerous moves like Earthquake,
Poison Tail, Surf, and Dragon Pulse.

Additionally, Goodra also has powers in the form of Sap Sipper and Gooey. It can very fell force its opponents to adjust at the time of flying.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Goodra Tera Raid Details (Late November 2025)

With the Hydreigon Tera Raid event barely over, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trainers are gearing up for yet another dragon-themed battle. As reported by Serebii.net, the Seven-Star Tera Raids featuring Goodra the Unrivaled will kick off on Thursday, November 20, at 7:00 PM ET. It will end on November 23, at 6:59 PM Eastern.

After the anouncement, it can be noted down that all those Pokemon trainers who actually missed out the very first round will now have the chance to have second round which will commence from November 27 to November 30.

With a Water Tera Type, Goodra the Unrivaled will award the Mightiest Mark to those who triumph over it. As Goodra is equipped with a concrete defence system, it will still going to have its lower physical defense which will act as a counterbalance.

In addition to the above, Goodra will also have some more capabilities that are ready to combat its weakness to both Electric and Grass attacks.

Please also note that Goodra the Unrivaled is bound to have its own abilities to prevent various challenges it faces. For example, if there is rain, it can can cool down or heal Goodra, while Gooey which happens to be its hidden ability simply cuts the Speed of Pokémon that strike it physically.

But in any case, the most astonishing ability of Goodra happens to be Sap Sipper, which simply makes its immune system vigilant to help boost its attack instead of taking damage. As a countermeasure, bringing ability-negating moves—particularly Gastro Acid and Skill Swap can greatly improve a trainer’s chances in the raid.

There are chances that the abilities of Goodra are neutralized. In that case, strong Pokemon in the form of Serperior or Iron Hands can well handle the probable damage against the draconic Tera Raid boss. How players intend to confront and overcome Goodra the Unrivaled in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is still a mystery.
