Talking about the original Happy Gilmore called British Columbia, Canada. It was the home for its filming, but the sequel breaks tradition by shooting in various spots around New Jersey.
It was in September 2024 when Principal photography actually commenced. Sandler, ensuring a smoother schedule, settled into New Jersey with his family the fall before. Here’s where the golf scenes were filmed.
Montclair Golf Club, New Jersey
Well, it’s a standout location in the sequel, Montclair Golf Club in Verona, NJ. It dates to 1893 and is recognized as one of the oldest golf clubs in the nation, spanning an impressive 36-hole layout.
Pleasantdale Château, New Jersey
You can spot the West Orange location in the teaser at NJ site. It’s place where Happy is immortalized alongside Tiger Woods, who’s a golfing legend.
It was once the sole property of great New York industrialist Charles Walter Nichols, the estate now serves as a picturesque setting for weddings, corporate events, and screen productions like The Sopranos, Law and Order: SVU, and Cadillac Records, starring Beyoncé.and Adrien Brody.
