There was lots of speculation regarding the divorce of Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora as everything was not going well between the couple for the last some time.
The couple was last seen in their kid’s birthday party where everybody was present including their families.
But speculation emerged again after the news of their reunion surfaced again.
But the speculation ended after the couple finally moved to Mumbai’s Bandra Court seeking the legal aspect of their separation. They were seen along with their lawyers.
As per the latest reports, both Malaika and Arbaaz were spotted last week along with their lawyers.
If you guys remember, the couple had already announced about their forthcoming separation in the month of March. And at that time, they issued a joint declaration about their mutual separation.
During the process of discussions, they revealed taking some time to figure out the possible hope to save their relationship.
And soon after this, Malaika and her son ‘Arhaan’ moved away from the scene. However, after a couple of days, we heard the couple has sorted out their issues and are not going to end their marriage.
After following all this, the couple decided not to file a divorce until they involve their families into this.
Not only this, they were also spotted on several occasions, like enjoying dinner with each other’s families in Bandra (Mumbai). All this speculated that they have sorted out all their issues and have now reconciled.
Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan took the decision after losing every hope
Malaika Arora failed to respond to any of the messages or calls sent to her. After that we tried calling Arbaaz but he was also unavailable for a comment.
As per the reliable sources, both are reported to have approached to the Bandra court to file a mutual divorce petition.
This happened after the court reopened afresh after Diwali’s break. The petition they filed (divorce petition) was as per their mutual consent.
Now, they have to go through with one last mandatory counseling session from court’s end.
The legal aspect for both Malaika Arora and Arbaaz says- they need to first undergo some mandatory sessions before getting a final separation.
For example, the couple should not be living together for a period of one year or longer (if they need to end their marriage).
In this case, they’re also not living together for the specified period as stated by the court which becomes the basis for it to consider for a divorce.
If everything goes well, the court (after studying the case) passes its judgement of a divorce after a span of 6-18 months. The time between 6-18 months are given to reflect on their decision.
