The Internet sensation Ranu Mandal is again in the news. This time, veteran singer Kumar Sanu has come forward and said that he has heard so much about Ranu Mandal along with the fact that she has sung a duel song with Himesh Reshamiya.
When Sanu was asked about his thoughts on the new sensation in the form of Mandal who sings really well, Sanu said he is also ready to sing a duet song with her only if given a proper offer.
Ranu Mandal first appeared in the news when she was singing (like usual) at the Ranaghat Railway station in Kolkata. This was when someone noticed her singing in her melodious voice.
This was the moment when the person captured her video singing one of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar’s songs. After Mandal’s video was posted on social media, she became an overnight star.
Soon after this, Ranu started trending on the Internet. And this is where her singing career actually began. Himesh Reshamiya was the first one to recognize her singing talent and he instantly gave her an offer to sing a duel song in his upcoming film Happy Hardy and Heer.
After hearing all these reports, Kumar Sanu has also wished the same. He wished that he would love to sing a duel song if anyone approaches him.
When the media personals asked details about his approach towards Ranu Mandal’s singing, this is what he has to say, “We all feel happy and privileged if a new singer joins the bandwagon and performs. And if she is able to do a great job, then she will obviously get recognition. I’m certainly looking forward to sing with her, if given a proper offer,” This is what Sanu told PTI while he was launching his Durga Puja Album.
He further added, “Let’s all of us give her time to perform. And if she performs well in the coming time, then she is bound to get proper recognition in the cine world”. This is how Kumar Sanu expressed his feelings.
He also said that in the world of technology, where we are currently living, you can all notice that non professional singers are also becoming popular. And if someone is doing well, then we should all bring this forward.
Kumar also spoke on his Durga Puja album. He named it as “Kheyali Din” which is an ensemble of as many as 6 tracks.
