Level-5 has announced that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will launch on August 21 for both PC and consoles.
The Inazuma Eleven RPG series initially found success in Japan with its 2008 Nintendo DS release and reached Western gamers in 2014.
Since then, the franchise has expanded with multiple instalments, and Victory Road is the next chapter in its journey.
Known for its over-the-top style, Inazuma Eleven blends soccer with the intensity of shows like Dragon Ball Z. The anime centers on Mamoru Endo, a spirited young goalkeeper determined to build a strong team at Raimon Junior High.
As the series progresses, he goes head-to-head with increasingly formidable rivals. Alongside Endo, fan-favourite characters like Yuuto Kidou and Shuuya Gouenji have also left their mark. After a lengthy break from the gaming scene, Inazuma Eleven is finally making its return.
A brand-new trailer for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has been released by Level-5, confirming its launch on August 21.
The footage highlights world exploration, interactions between the new main character and NPCs, a preview of the soccer gameplay, and skill-based tasks like aiming shots through hanging tires.
The new trailer teases a feature akin to a skill progression system and brings back the iconic, high-energy moves fans have come to love.
Along with the release date reveal, Level-5 has announced that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will also launch on Xbox Series consoles and Nintendo Switch 2, in addition to its previously confirmed platforms like PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
What Can Gamers Expect from Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road?
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road takes place 25 years after the original, introducing Destin Billows, a student from South Circus Junior High, as the new protagonist. His story unfolds when he crosses paths with Harper Evans, the star player of Raimon Junior High’s team.
The game also boasts a Chronicle Mode, featuring over 5,200 characters from past Inazuma Eleven titles, along with anime cutscenes produced by the acclaimed MAPPA studio.
Both a standard and Deluxe edition of Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will be released, with the Deluxe edition offering special bonuses like the Fei Rune item and the Victory Jump goal celebration.
As per the Latest Gaming News, players who purchase the Deluxe version for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series consoles will also enjoy early access, starting their journey on August 19.
Pre-ordering Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will grant players the Advanced Booster Bundle, which includes items to boost XP gains and enhance stats like control, technique, and agility.
Gamers who took part in the beta will receive special items based on their achievements during that phase.
