The Entertainment Industry Comes Out In Support of JNU Students Against the Recent Violence

In the recent violence against the JNU students, we can see lots of incidences where it shows the people of the country are united. And they don’t want to be divided simply on the names of caste and the religion.

Talking about the recent violence of JNU students, the entire entertainment industry came in the support of JNU students where they protested quite peacefully representing their thoughts and rights.

Among those who represented the film industry included many renowned filmmakers including Anurag Kashyap, Vishal Bharadwaj and Anubhav Sinha. Not only that, the crew also represented some Bollywood personalities as well.

Some of them include Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza and Rahul Bose. All of them stood together in the support of the violence against JNU students at large. The scheduled time for the crowd to gather was around 8PM. They managed to do most of the things as per their schedule.

The Entertainment Industry Showed their Extended Support to JNU Students

There were some other Bollywood stars who joined them later including Saurabh Shukla, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal. The bandwagon also included Bollywood directors including Zoya Akhtar and Sudhir Mishra as well.

The crowd not only protested silently but also shared their views as well. One of the Bollywood directors Anurag Kashyap shared his views on the recent violence against JNU students. And this is what he has to say, “I like condemn the working style of Delhi Police and doubt how they handled the entire issue. Today, people are scared and we are here to extend our unanimous support to our students as they are our inspiration. At the moment, I really feel that the students have woken up from our sleep.”

Sawara Bhaskar who is also a renowned Bollywood actor also joined them on the issue. This is what she has to say, “We all witnessed that during the violence against JNU students, various police personnel didn’t bother to do anything Instead, they remained silent just like mute spectators. We expected them to take a strong action but unfortunately, didn’t take any sort of section against all those masked people.” She concluded.
