Years have passed on but no one can replace what Govinda films. This is what the film director David Dhawan feels even now.
The director has casted Govinda in many of his memorable films like Coolie Number 1.
David Dhawan is known to have produced a plethora of blockbusters with Govinda and Salman Khan. Today, he was present on the occasion of his upcoming film which is going to be the remake of ‘Coolie No. 1′.
When Dhawan was asked to comment about the role of his son Varun Dhawan in the film, he said that although, the film showcases the Varun in the lead role, but it is impossible to do what Govinda and Salman can do.
He also said that he is currently busy in the remake of ‘Coolie No. 1′ where Varun Dhawan will be featuring in the lead role.
But comparing him with Govinda does not exist as Varun can’t produce similar results like Govinda.
The remake of ‘Coolie No. 1′ will star both Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan in their prominent roles.
David further made a point by saying that Govinda happened to be a legend in his own ways that no one can copy him at all.
David also said that he made a plethora of films with Govinda in the padt like Haseena Maan Jayegi, Coolie No. 1, Hero No. 1 and others that is now almost impossible to repeat with any other hero except Govinda.
He further stated that Varun has his own working style and is way too different than Govinda.
He also said that at the time of the making of Judwaa, Varun didn’t even try to copy Salman Khan. Instead, he decided to proceed with his own natural acting.
It’s simply because no actor can produce the similar results by copying Salman Khan or Govinda. It’s because both of them are the legends of their own style and work.
Now, in the remake of Coolie No. 1, Varun will be seen doing the role of Govinda whereas Sara Ali Khan will be reprising the role of Karisma Kapoor.
