Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava has enjoyed a strong box office run since its February 14 release. Although its earnings dropped significantly in the third week, the film has garnered Rs 483.58 crore in India and could surpass the Rs 500 crore milestone by the weekend. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in their respective lead roles.

The film has garnered immense popularity, especially in Maharashtra, and has now completed three weeks in theaters. Vicky Kaushal’s starrer is gradually inching closer to the Rs 500 crore mark in India.
Chhaava witnessed a phenomenal box office run in its first two weeks, driven by strong word-of-mouth. However, as it completes its third week, the film’s earnings have taken a hit, with collections nearly 55% lower than in the second week.
As the days passed, the decline in earnings was inevitable. On its 21st day (third Thursday), Chhaava garnered Rs 5.53 crore. As per Sacnilk, the film’s week 3 collection amounts to Rs 84.08 crore, pushing its total net earnings in India to Rs 483.58 crore.
Chhaava Box Office Day 21: Vicky Kaushal’s Film Ends Third Week With Rs 84 Crore, Still Distant from Rs 500 Crore Mark
A boost in earnings over the weekend could push the film past the Rs 500 crore mark by Saturday, though it may not achieve that on Friday. Chhaava currently ranks second among the top 10 highest-grossing films in the Mumbai region.
According to Box Office India, the film has amassed nearly Rs 222 crore from the Mumbai circuit, making it the second-highest earner after Pushpa 2, which has collected around Rs 267 crore.
Laxman Utekar helms the film, which also stars Akshaye Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna.
