Bombay High Court Quashes LOCs Against Rhea Chakraborty, Her Brother Showik, & Father In Sushant Singh Rajput Case
The actor Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead in his residence in June 2020.
In response, the Mumbai police initiated an investigation after filing an Accidental Death report. However, Rajput’s father accused Rhea Chakraborty and her family members of abetment to suicide in Bihar.
Both Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in 2020 for their involvement in a drug-related case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput. They were later granted bail.
Following this, the CBI assumed control of the investigation, issuing Lookout Circulars (LOCs) against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, and her father in August 2020. Subsequently, in September 2023, the High Court temporarily suspended the LOC against Rhea’s brother, Showik, allowing him to travel abroad.
