During the interaction, Arshad Warsi chose to throw some light on his life. He recalled how he met with his current wife Maria. According to him it all happened when he was invited in a college fest. At this time, one of his friend Ravi Behl asked Arshad to check a girl from St. Andrew college having a cute smile.
This is when Arshad said, “I quickly spotted her and she was also a pretty girl who was just a background dancer at that time. But afterwards, she became a lead dancer in her squad. Now, after she started helping out things with me at the fest, she instantly fell in love with me, but I didn’t.”
This was when his friends constantly told him that Maria actually liked him but he ignored. He said, “I felt quite stressed and then asked her, ‘Do you really like me?’ She said no’
The turning point in their relationship came at a Dubai show. Arshad fondly remembered “nice Catholic girl” into drinking beer, which loosened her up enough to confess, “I love you.” He teasingly told her she should have revealed her feelings sooner.
