Alia Bhatt looks keen to start her new venture in Telugu cinema after shaking hands with director SS Rajamouli on the sets in Hyderabad.
The Bollywood actress will play a lead role in her upcoming Telugu film titled RRR. She recently took to her Instagram account to share a few pictures that are enough to narrate the entire story.
Even before the shooting could take place, the actress looked excited to be a part of the film. As per the reports, the bubbly actress will be paired opposite Ram Charan’s Alluri Seetharama Raju.
If you look in the past, the shooting of RRR film got delayed many times due to different reasons. Since it was a big project, Alia’s name was always a point of discussion.
As per the latest Bollywood news, Alia was not available for the shooting due to her jam packed schedule. And this was the major reason for the delay of the film.
But now, when the actress has joined the sets of RRR with the Baahubali fame SS Rajamouli, everything looks streamline. While sharing one of the pictures, Alia captioned, “And finally!!! Enroute Team RRR!!!! @RRRMovie (sic).”
It was on the morning of December 6 when Alia Bhatt was spotted at the Mumbai airport to start a new beginning of her career in Hyderabad. She wore black pants with a black T-shirt and looked stunning in her outfit.
On the other hand, SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan are going through a tough schedule as they have recently completed shooting for a project in Mahabaleshwar. And now, they again teamed up for yet another grueling schedule.
In the reports, there were questions raised how Alia Bhatt got the project from the ace director SS Rajamouli. Later, it was revealed that Alia herself begged it from the director. In simpler words, it was Alia who begged SS Rajamouli to cast her in RRR.
This is what Alia had to say to one of the news agencies, “I had bumped into Rajamouli sir at an airport and I begged him that whatever part he has (for me) I will do it. That time he had not cast for the girl yet.”
She further added, “He said he was anyway talking about my timelines. So I told him whatever be the timelines, I will make it happen. We made it happen.” Alia took the effort to learn Telugu to speak her lines in the film.
However, as per the original schedule, Alia had to join the RRR team in the month of November. But due to her last minute change in plans, she joined them in December.
RRR is going to be a big venture by SS Rajamouli to be produced by DVV Danayya starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in their pivotal roles.
RRR revolves on the fiction of two freedom fighters named Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama being played by Jr NTR and Ram Charan respectively.
