Housefull 5 is going to entertain the audience this Friday when it gets released on OTT platforms. The peculiar thing about the film is that it has already grabbed a whopping ₹300 crore globally. Houseful 5 will be available on Prime Video from today itself.

It all happened when Prime Video unveiled a short video featuring the entire cast, asking viewers to tune in on their OTT platform. This is what the caption read, “A housefull of people have something to say.”
Starring Akshay Kumar in the main lead, Housefull 5 also features a massive ensemble cast comprising Soundarya Sharma, Nana Patekar, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Jackie Shroff, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandez, Fardeen Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan.

Housefull 5 Box Office
Released on June 6 under Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner titled Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the comedy film saw a phenomenal box office response. The comedy film managed to grab over ₹200 crore domestically and exceeding ₹300 crore globally.
Housefull 5 is basically a comedy film with an interesting murder mystery. The film was actually hit screens in two parts titled Housefull 5 A and Housefull B.
Though both films kicked off the same story, the endings revealed different murderers. The creators revealed this dual-ending concept was a passion project years in the making
If you look at the other side of the film, not everyone laughed at Housefull 5. Looking at the audience reaction, they slammed the film for its male gaze and sexist jokes, saying it wasn’t fit to be called a “family entertainer.” They also noted that women shown in the film were mostly objectified.
