A PlayStation 5 player along with a PC player in ARC Raiders recently shut off crossplay for as many as for a week to figure out which group had the nicer community.
The experiment further delivered some noteworthy conclusions. The game was actually released on October 30 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5 platforms.

During a recent event to unlock the Stella Montis map, players simply donated resources at such a rapid pace that Embark Studios increased the threshold just for the community to complete it again within a single day.
ARC Raiders Tests Player Behavior to Compare Friendliness on PC and Consoles
If you consult a recent post published on Reddit, a user named Patrick shared a few images right from a test conducted by two solo ARC Raiders players: one playing on PC and the other on PlayStation 5.
By disabling crossplay, they ensured their lobbies consisted only of players using the same hardware.
The user who played as many as 85 matches on PC and got a chance to meet up to 250 people, almost 18% of them wished him a good luck. But close to 25% of them said they were friendly before they actually headed for shooting.
In the same way, as many as 44% shot on sight, 11.81% formed temporary alliances but betrayed them at extraction, and 2.95% stayed cooperative until the end.

The ARC Raiders player on PC witnessed much different results. They engaged in 51 matches and interacted with 172 players in total.
Looking at the 172 matches, close to 57% players wished them luck, 4% faked friendliness, 27% initiated combat immediately, 2% double-crossed them at extraction, and 9.57% maintained friendly cooperation to the end.
From all the above findings, PC players seem more transparent about their intentions when interacting with others. Keep in mind, though, that the Xbox Series X/S player base wasn’t included, so its behavior remains unknown.

Arc Raiders has already been released on October 30, 2025 on several platforms like PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Its basically a shooter game developed by Embark Studios.
Regarding the kind of gameplay it holds, ARC Raiders is basically a kind of PvPvE gameplay which means player versus player versus environment. This game is generally played by making a team of three, two, or can even be played solo.
Ever since the Arc Raiders was released, it managed to receive good number of positive reviews. But the game was mainly criticized due to its usage of generative AI which according to reviewers looks quite unethical.
