The latest is that the a sports loving dog named Buddy is all set to return to the big screen to have all the fun and adventure. It all happened after Air Bud Entertainment and Cineverse jointly announced Air Bud Returns.
As per Variety, you can feel the presence of your beloved family franchise shortly. The original film was first released in 1997 where the audience were introduced with Buddy, a sports loving dog who likes to play basketball.
In the original Air Bud, he proved by going out of the way that basketball is not only a game played by humans but also by four-legged pups as well.
After the success of the original film, the franchise managed to expand into a number of other sports. Air Bud Returns is going to mark the 15th film in the franchise.

Robert Vince is credited to have created the original series 28 years agao. He’s also the person to have written and directed as many as 10 films in the franchise. Now, the latest is that he is all set to join the story of Buddy being a director and writer.
As reported by Variety, the upcoming film is all set to hit the big screen in 2026. While describing the sort of a film titled Air Bud Returns, the company reveals it to connect the audience and bringing nostalgia moments. The film is also suitable for younger audiences and long time fans.

Air Bud Returns Plot
The story revolves around Jacob, who has just attained 12 years of age. His dilema is that he has just lost his father and his condition is not good. Now, after the loss of his father, he and his mother decide to move to the hometown of his late father in Fernfeild.
This is whhere he meets someone new. Once he reaches there, he finds an old Air Bud VHS tape and gets confused. He then meets a stray golden retriever, Buddy.
The story next moves from here where Jacob is shown to follow a journey full of emotions. It includes his self belief, framework, and healing.
