The latest buzz coming in from Kollywood is regarding the shooting of Indian 2 that had to be shelved after an unfortunate incident happened on the sets. But now, it’s learnt that Kamal Hassan will resume shooting for the film from January 2021.
Well, it looks like a great respite to all the fans out there who were waiting eagerly for the film to release. After the shooting resumes, fans can expect some more entertainment coming their way.
Indian 2 is actually the sequel to Indian that was released way back in 1996 starring Kamal Hassan. The film was directed by the ace director Shankar. The best part here is that it had registered a huge success at the box office.
Now, after a span of 24 years, both Kamal Hassan and the director Shankar have collaborated again to work on the sequel of Indian that was released on May 9, 1996. The music in the film was given by A.R. Rahman.
As per the latest updates, Kamal Hassan will resume shooting for Indian 2 either in January or February 2021 and is expected to complete it within a month’s time. It’s because he will be busy in his political commitments afterwards.
This time, the entire crew of Indian 2 is taking steps with care mainly to avoid any unfortunate incident like the one happened last time when 3 people were killed on the sets.
Indian 2 shooting is expected to happen at a number of locations both in India and abroad. At the same time, it is being learnt that Kamal Hassan will be completing his pending project with the director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
