I Share a Deep Connection with Chennai: Salman Khan

Salman Khan is busy promoting his latest upcoming film Dabangg 3 starring Sonakshi Sinha and Kiccha Sudeep in their pivotal roles.

The film has been directed by Prabhudeva. Recently, the Bollywood superstar was in Chennai to promote Dabangg 3 where he said that he shares a deep connection with the entire South India including Chennai.

As everybody knows, Salman Khan is a busy actor who has loads of films in his kitty at all times. This time, he is quite busy promoting his upcoming film Dabangg 3. He was currently in Chennai to launch the son of FEFSI Vijayan’s son Sabarish in the cine world.

At the time of promoting the film, Salman Khan shared a few interesting facts in front of the audience. He said that he has a deep connection with Chennai that he will keep remember at all times.

While speaking to the media personals, he said that the first time he came in Chennai was to shoot for an advertisement. And on later occasions, the actor had to shoot various other movies including Revathy.

Apart from that, he had another big release Wanted for which the shooting commenced for nearly a month.

Salman further said that he still keeps remembering all his memories when he had come here to shoot for the films. Not only shooting, he also remembers the kind of food. This is what he said, “I’m an avid Tamil Movies watcher and love to enjoy the taste of the food as well. I also like watching Tamil Movies as well.

There are a few Tamil movies that were remade and proved biggest hits including Vijay’s Pokkiri and Vikram Kenny’s Sethu.”

While participating at the event in Chennai, the superstar admitted that he is a huge fan of Rajnikanth. This is what he still remembers, “At the time of the audio launch of 2.0 in Mumbai, I came all the way into the event and everybody including Rajni sir was shocked to see me. It was mainly because I was an uninvited guest and wanted to see him as I was a big fan of him.”

He further added, “We are quite aware and feel happy about the way most South Indian films perform. Some of them include KGF and Baahubali that were all loved by the audience there. In the same way, we expect you to come and visit your nearby theatres to watch our Dabangg 3 as well.”

Salman didn’t forget to praise Prabhudeva whom he admires a lot. This is what he said about him, “I have all the praise for Prabhudeva as he is more like a master blaster, especially when it comes to the film direction and dance. And I’m quite sure that Dabangg 3 is going to be so much enjoyable film for each one of you.”
