Sooryavanshi entered into second Friday by collecting Rs 6.83 crore. With that, it has crossed an overall figure of Rs 127 crore at the box office.
The film continues to perform well mainly because it garners a positive word of mouth from movie-goers coming out of theaters after watching the film.
By looking at the trends, it looks obvious that people are showering love to the film. On the completion of first week (Thursday), the film managed to collect a whopping Rs 8.30 crore.
As Sooryavanshi completed its first week on a good note, there were speculation that if it would be able to maintain the same momentum in the 2nd week as well. And now, it looks like the film is going unstoppable creating more records.
By analyzing the above data, it looks like the audience is interested to go to cinema halls to watch the film.
Another reason of such a huge growth of the film is there is no competition from any other film. Due to this, it opened in a record number of screens across the country for the first time since the pandemic.
For now, the makers of Sooryavanshi have some more days to enjoy with no competition from any other film.
It’s because another film titled Bunty aur Babli 2 will be released on November 19, starring Sharvari Wagh, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan in their pivotal roles.
It’s to be seen if the upcoming film is able to create a magic at the box office and gives a head on collision to Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi.
