The latest news about R Madhavan’s Rocketry is creating ripples across the box office after it got a good opening on Friday (July 1, 2022).
It looks like the film will perform better, especially after the biographical drama managed to grab some rave reviews from the audience.
There are a number of reasons why it happened. First of all, the film has been in the news for the last several years. Not only that, it also had to go through a number of sustained marketing promotions specifically designed.
The most exciting part about the film is that makers never expected the film to get such an overwhelming response att he box office. And it all happened mainly because a positive mouth of word from the movie goers.
Looking at the opening collection, it was lower than what it would have been in the pre-pandemic times. R Madhavan’s last Hindi film was Saala Khadoos released in 2015 which collected Rs 1.28 crore. It would have collected way more than this had it arrived in 2019.
Rocketry Box Office Day 1 (Hindi): The Film Expected to Make Rs 2 Crore
After looking at the great rapport the film has been able to earn, it looks like R Madhavan’s Rocketry would definitely cross the Rs 2 crore mark. If this biographical drama is able to perform well today, it would help the film scale high over weekends.
