Robert Pattinson Lends His Voice to Character Heron In the English Dub of The Boy And The Heron

The world famous director Hayao Miyazaki is credited to have made a classical masterpiece titled The Boy And The Heron. The film revolves around the magical journey of a teenaged boy into an entirely different world.

The film has been going famous across the globe. It’s the winner of Academy Award in the category of the ‘Best Animated Feature’ and will be released in English language.

The voice cast in the film has been performed by Luca Padovan, Karen Fukuhara, Mark Hamill, Gemma Chan, Willem Dafoe, Dave Bautista, Florence Pugh, Florence Pugh, Robert Pattinson, and Christian Bale.

 

 

Robert Pattinson Lends His Voice to Character Heron In the English Dub of The Boy And The Heron

While giving insights about the film, this is what Robert Pattinson has to say, “The Boy And The Heron” portrays the sorrow of a boy who loses his mother and struggles with complicated relationships with his family and classmates. Mahito gradually becomes more isolated until he meets a strange talking heron.

Mahito and the heron enter a mysterious tower, revealing a magical world where he encounters the people he loves, but with completely different identities.

Besides winning an Oscar, it managed to get the Best Animated Film award at the Golden Globes, BAFTA Film Awards, New York Film Critics Circle Awards, and Los Angeles Film Critics Association. This is director Hayao Miyazaki’s second Academy Award, having previously won an Oscar in 2001 for Spirited Away.

Hayao Miyazaki, who’s a renowned Japanese anime master, is currently making his highly anticipated comeback with The Boy and The Heron after an absence since 2012.

Speaking about Robert Pattinson’s English voice portrayal of Heron, this is what Miyazaki has to say, “I discovered that he was eagerly enthusiastic about bringing Heron to life and had thoroughly prepared before his initial studio session. He seamlessly embodied the character, evident in the finished product. He truly personalized the character.”

It all happened on May 10 when the film was premiered by Warner Bros. Pictures in cinema halls across the nation. Audiences had the option to enjoy it in its original Japanese with English subtitles or in an English dubbed version.
