Rae Allen, who’s a renowned Hollywood actress passes away at the age of 95. Allen was known to be a Tony award-winning actor. She’s also known for her role as Quintina Blundetto on ‘The Sopranos’.

As per the latest Hollywood news, Rae Allen passed away on Wednesday. This is what the representative of ‘Damn Yankees’ actor stated, “I had the pleasure of representing Rae Allen for over 20 years. She [was] one the most gifted actresses I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I will be forever grateful to have been a part of her incredible journey.”

Rae Allen is better regarded as Rae Julia Theresa Abruzzo and was born in Brooklyn. Right from the start of her career, she performed in various stage shows and gave screen performances. She had her first Broadway credit in the year 1948.

Later, Rae Allen became a part of Abbott’s various musicals including ‘The Pajama Game’ (1954) and ‘Call Me Madam’ (1950).

In the year 1958, Rae Allen commenced her acting career in ‘Damn Yankees’ which was an Oscar nominated musical comedy. She’s reported to have played the role of reporter Gloria Thorpe. This is the role which she had played in the original Broadway production.

Rae Allen also starred in several TV series like ‘Profiles in Courage’ and ‘The Untouchables’.

In the year 1992, Rae Allen starred in a sports comedy titled ‘A League of Their Own’ (1992). She also played the role of Mrs Sokol on ‘Seinfeld’.

The actress also appeared in ‘The Sopranos’ (2004). Some of her credits also include ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘NYPD Blue’.

Rae Allen appeared in ‘And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little’ in the year 1971 for which she got Tony Award in the category of best actor (female).

Later, the actress received two more Tony nominations for her splendid performances in ‘Traveller Without Luggage’ and ‘Damn Yankees’.

Some of the recent projects of Rae Allen include a comedy-drama series titled ‘Vampire Mob’ and Mike Binder’s drama ‘Reign Over Me’ with Adam Sandler.
