After her health deteriorated, Monali Thakur was swiftly taken to Dinhata Sub-District Hospital. Her team acted quickly to ensure she received medical attention, with an ambulance arriving shortly to transport her to a nearby facility.

She was later admitted to a private hospital in Cooch Behar, where she is currently undergoing treatment.

Just a few weeks prior, Monali Thakur made headlines when she had to stop her concert in Varanasi due to mismanagement, including a poorly set-up stage. Worried about the potential risk of an ankle injury, she expressed her apologies to the audience for the unexpected halt in the performance.

A viral video from the Varanasi concert captured Monali Thakur expressing her frustration. In the video, she shared, “It’s truly upsetting because my team and I were so eager to perform here. However, the state of the infrastructure, which is the organizer’s responsibility, is something we won’t get into. I’ve warned multiple times about the risk of injuring my ankle, and despite my dancers telling me to stay composed, everything was in chaos

Monali Thakur shared, “We’ve been putting in all our effort because I know you all come for me, and I’m accountable to you. I hope to grow to the point where I can handle everything myself without depending on those who lack professionalism and ethics. I’m truly sorry for having to stop the show, but I’ll definitely return. Next time, I’ll make sure to give you a much better experience. Please forgive us.”
