Lucknow Central box office collection day 2– The recently released Farhan Akhtar movie titled Lucknow Central couldn’t come up with much exhilaration as most film critics gave it an average rating so far.
The film is already released and the expectations are always mounting high for the makers. But in order to remain afloat, this Ranjit Tiwari directorial film has to really perform well. One thing that it requires at the moment is positive word of mouth from the audience who liked the movie.
As per the interpretation given by critics, the movie looks average by considering the storyline and other factors. This happens to be a third film from Farhan where he is playing the role of a musician. For now, the situation becomes static as time will only tell how the film is going to perform in the future.

By analyzing Lucknow Central box office collection Day 2, it seems that the newly released movie might perform better on the weekend after it gets some appreciation from the audience.
Well, this is because a number of other films are consistently being released and it would become harder to perform under such a stiff condition. As you know, the film has managed to collect almost Rs 2.02 crore at the box office on its opening day.
For those who are still not aware about the performance of Farhan Akhtar’s recent film titled Lucknow Central, let’s take a quick look at the numbers. Well, the film starring Diana Penty opposite Farhan Akhtar already had an average start and looking to have a magic of any sort to revive its collections.
Taran Adarsh (trade expert) has already tweeted the facts and figures related to the film. He tweeted by giving the figures that the movie collected on day 1 and also suggested that coming Saturday and Sunday are going to be crucial for the film.
Aseem Arora and Ranjit Tiwari are both credited to have written the script for Lucknow Central movie. It narrates the true story of a musician named Kishen Mohan Girhotra. The person gets entrapped in jail due to some reasons and concocts a plan to make his own musical band with the help of his prison inmates.
He also embarks his intention escape from the proximity of prison. Apart from Diana Panty and Farhan Akhtar, the film also stars Ronit Roy and Deepak Dobriyal in their supporting roles.
Another thing that is hampering both these movies (Lucknow Central and Simran) is the attraction of films that are already released. It seems that the audience is no more willing to watch these films against those released earlier.
Well, this is one aspect why both these new releases have under performed. But the main reason why these films couldn’t manage to attract the audience back to the theatres is due to their weak storyline and poor content.
By looking at the individual performances of Lucknow Central and Simran, it seems that both these movies need a positive word of mouth from the spectators to build confidence among the makers.
Shubhra Gupta, who happens to be a film critic with Indian Express has disclosed a lukewarm review of this movie. He says “the film looks like mawkish sentimentality that manages to overcome the story telling part. This film is not something we all expected and is not certainly Jailhouse rock.”

The story of Lucknow Central depicts how the jail authorities are busy torturing the jail inmates. It also shows how someone’s dreams get shattered into small pieces after a false and derogatory accusation.
