Jagga Jasoos is directed by Anurah Basu and was launched to the silver screens on July 14, 2017. Albeit, the film performed well initially, it couldn’t sustain its winning streak for long.
The box office collection of the film plunged to a staggering low on Monday (July 17, 2017) and Tuesday (July 18, 2017) after giving it a flying start. It still remains to be seen whether this decline is going to continue or the film still manages to regain its pace at the box office.
Jagga Jesus had a blistering start on Friday along with a good overall show on the entire weekend. But the collections took a U-turn and displayed some dwindling numbers on Monday. As per the industry insiders, it can be due to the starting of the week.
However, the music adventure film still managed to perform well at the box office, unlike others. The movie has done a business of Rs 37 crore till date which is still lower than what the actual budget to make the film was.

Jagga Jasoos is the 3rd venture between Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor. Before that, both Katrina and Ranbir had appeared in a film titled Raajneeti and Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Also, Anurag Basu is second time lucky taking both of them in his musical adventure- Jagga Jasoos.
The duo had earlier collaborated for a movie named Barfi that starred Ranbir Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Priyanka Chopra.
