Gadar 2 Creates History to Become First Indian Film to Release In Monterrey, Mexico

With each passing day, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 is making new records. At the box office, the film has already proved its worth as it surprise the audience with its great content.

As per the recent update, Gadar 2 has created history to become the first Indian film released in Monterrey, Mexico.

Gadar 2 is a sequel to the 2001 released blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha on August 11, 2023 across the country.

Gadar 2 has been directed by Anil Sharma and stars Utkarsh Sharma, Ameesha Patel, and Sunny Deol in their lead casts.

The film revolves against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. It narrates the true story of a Sikh person who has to go to Pakistan to rescue his son.

The moment of pride for Gadar 2 is that it has been consistent performing well at the box office. In fact, it has smashed several records of the recently released blockbuster films.

On its 2nd Sunday too, Gadar 2 had a great collection at the box office, grossing over Rs 40 crore. In its 10 day run so far, the fil has managed to surpass Rs 30 crore mark at least eight times.

In the meanwhile, Gadar 2 has already gone past the Rs. 350 crores mark as well. While sharing his thoughts on the huge success of Gadar 2, this is what Sunny Deol stated, “We had the conviction and we decided to go for it. 22 saal tak field khaali thi. Koi aisi filmein kyu nahi bana raha tha? Aisi film bana rahe hote toh baat kuch aur hoti. Field khaali thi. Isliye hum aaye aur humne hamara kaam kiya!”
