Alia Bhatt seems unstoppable. Just after completing her upcoming film Jigra, she is immersing herself in a new project titled Alpha, which is a part of Yash Raj Films‘ expanding spy universe.

The YRF spy universe is packed with stars, including Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan.

In the current scenario, Alia Bhatt seems ready to establish her place in this high-energy franchise with a standalone film. She will soon be joined by Sharvari Wagh, who is enjoying the success of her Munjya. YRF made the official announcement on Friday, June 5.

Alia Bhatt is supposed to play the role of a super soldier. For portraying this character, she completed an intense two-month rigorous training with specialists.

Her dedication extends to the film’s production schedule, as YRF has officially announced the commencement of shooting. This is what the tweet says, “The #ALPHA girls are now on set.”

As of now, the makers have not yet revealed the plot details. But some industry insiders have stated that the director Shiv Rawail has planned multiple fight sequences for the early stages of filming.

In short, it can be said that action doesn’t stop in Mumbai; the two actresses will embark on a worldwide spy mission, with the United Kingdom as their next stop. There, they will be guided by veteran actor Anil Kapoor, who plays a mentor role in their adventure.

As of now, Alpha is going to be a crucial project for Alia Bhatt. The actress has some more upcoming films in her kitty like Jigra, which is set to debut in October 2024. The actress will then be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Love & War, scheduled for Christmas 2025.
