Hashmi stated, “It happens that many of us are stuck with a particular images that goes on with you all the time.” For example, he took the case of several veteran stars who had to deal with the situation accordingly.

He pointed out SRK’s ow style of arms-spread pose. Some shirtless scenes of Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor’s famous dialogue “Jhakaas.”

This is what he continued saying, “I don’t fault the audience. For about 7-8 years, that was the image the producers and I were pushing.”

It all started in the year 2004 when Hashmi got his breakthrough role in ‘Murder’ where he starred in a series of kissing scenes. From here, he commenced to start a new breed of character that was purely unconventional, and unapologetic.

It was actually the serial kisser tag that worked for Hashmi. It can be evident by looking some of his films like Jannat, Gangster, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, and Zeher where Hashmi was able to cement his image as a serial kisser.
