Sangeeth Sivan, who’s a renowned filmmaker has passed away. He’s known for his work in both Hindi and Malayalam cinema.
As per the latest news, he was admitted at a private hospital for treatment. The cause of his death is still unknown.

Sivan, known for his dual roles in directing and cinematography, left a significant mark on Indian cinema. His 1992 Malayalam film Yodha, featuring Mohanlal, is revered as an industry classic. Venturing into Hindi cinema, he helmed comedies like Kya Kool Hain Hum (2005), starring Tusshar Kapoor.
Tusshar took to social media to express his sorrow, stating, “Words fail to convey my emotions right now…. A guiding light who introduced me to comedy through #KyakoolHainHum is gone! Sangeeth ji, I had the privilege of working with you again recently, but it will take me a considerable time to process this heartbreaking news! Rest in peace sir, you will be deeply missed!”

Riteish Deshmukh also shared his tribute, expressing profound sadness over the passing of Sangeeth Sivan Sir. As a newcomer in the industry, all you hope for is someone to believe in you and provide an opportunity. Riteish expressed gratitude to Sivan for believing in him and offering roles in films like Kya Kool Hai Hum & Apna Sapna Money Money. He described Sivan as soft-spoken, kind, and a remarkable human being.
