Avatar: The Way Of Water Box Office Day 18: Looking at the box office reports, it seems that this James Cameron’s film is going unstoppable at the box office.
The film continues to mint a huge collection at the ticket counters even after a gap of 17 days. The good news is that the film has emerged as a winner on New Year as well.
Reports suggest that Avatar 2 has been engaged in making a huge business in India even at the New Year’s weekend. It looked evident after the film showed a huge surge in holidays period.
As per the latest report in this regard, the film has already gathered Rs 326 crore as is currently in the process of getting its all time blockbuster status.
Avatar: The Way of Water box office collection is such that it manages to collects in double digits on a daily basis. As per early trends, the film grabbed Rs 8-9 crore on its 3rd Monday.
The total collection on day 18 will now stand somewhere around Rs 334-335 crore. And if the film continues to follow the same trend, it may surpass the total collection of Avengers Endgame which is around Rs 364 crore in India.
Avatar, a 2009 film showcased Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) who is on the verge of becoming a champion for the Na’vi. He’s huge and up to 10 foot tall humanoids, in their fight for survival.
Avatar: The Way of Water is a sequel to Avatar (2009) hit screens on December 16, 2022. The sequel picked it right from where it was left 13 years ago.
The film narrates the story of Zoe Saldana’s Neytiri and Sam Worthington’s Sully trying hard to keep their family together. But some unusual circumstances displace them away from their home.
It then happens that Sullys travels across the reaches of Pandora who looks forward to flee the territory held by the Metkayina clan, who live in harmony with their surrounding oceans.
Avatar 2 is currently running in theatres in Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English languages.
