The Angry Birds Movie 3 is gearing up for a theatrical launch from Paramount Pictures, with Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Rachel Bloom, and Danny McBride returning to voice Red, Chuck, Silver, and Bomb..
SEGA and Rovio will produce the film alongside Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, with support from Flywheel Media, One Cool Group, and dentsu. The global theatrical release is set for January 29, 2027.

Joining the cast of The Angry Birds Movie 3 include Psalm West, James Austin Johnson, Nikki Glaser, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Anna Cathcart, Sam Richardson, Walker Scobell, Marcello Hernandez, Lily James, Tim Robinson, Keke Palmer, and Emma Myers.
The film is directed by John Rice, with a script penned by Thurop Van Orman, who also takes on the role of executive producer alongside Toru Nakahara. Production is led by Carla Connor, Dan Chuba, and John Cohen.
Building on the success of the first two films, which together earned over $500 million globally and performed exceptionally well on streaming platforms, The Angry Birds Movie 3 arrives with high anticipation for its theatrical debut.
Heitor Pereira, who’s Grammy-winning composer celebrated for his scores in Despicable Me, The Minions Movie, and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, returns to compose the music for the third installment, continuing his musical legacy with the franchise.
DNEG Animation is overseeing the storyboarding, artistic development, and animation for The Angry Birds Movie 3. Jeanie Chang serves as production designer, while Francesca Natale is leading character design. Vadim Bazhanov heads the story department, with Sarah K. Reimers as the film’s lead editor.
