Zoom Entertainment shared a popular clip showing Kartik Aaryan entering a small roadside café. Ananya Panday sits with a friend, appearing in the middle of a scene. The video caused quite a stir online. The makers have now officially confirmed the film.

Sameer Vidwans, the director behind Satyaprem Ki Katha, is directing this film. It is a collaboration between Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie will be released on February 13, 2026, just ahead of Valentine’s Day.

It all happened for the first time in January 2025, Bollywood Hungama was the first to report that Ananya Panday was chosen as the female lead. The choice came down to Ananya and Sharvari.

A source close to the film shared, “Kartik and Karan wanted an actress with strong youth appeal. They decided on Ananya. She and Kartik have a successful pairing, and this film will continue their winning streak.”

Kartik and Ananya’s pairing returns with this film. Their previous collaboration was Pati Patni Aur Woh in 2019. The makers hope to capture the same youthful vibe that worked before.
