In the recent past, the makers had announced that they would go ahead to make a biopic on the life of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
The same is now going to happen as the crew has started shooting for the same. The name of the project is Thalaivi starring Vijay and Kangana Rannautin their lead roles.
As per Vishnu Induri who will be producing the upcoming project has confirmed the news through a tweet that said, “The proposed journey of #Thalaivi has started today. The film is going to be made in as many as three languages including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It will star none other than #KanganaRannaut and #ArvindSwamy.”
Rangoli, who is Kangana’s sister also confirmed the news as she shared, “Today, Kangana has started the shooting of the most awaited biopic Thalaivi, based on Jayalalithaa ji with her blessings who is known as a revolutionary leader in Indian politics.”
To mark the collaboration of each other, the makers also shared the common stage and came together before the shooting of Thalaivi.
Please note that Kangana is going to step ahead into the shoes of J Jayalalitha for the upcoming film.
And foe that to happen, the actress is busy taking the lessons in Bharatanatyam and Tamil. As we stated earlier, the film will be shot in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
