Timothee Chalamet Reveals First Look As Young Willy Wonka

Timothee Chalamet has shared his first look as Willy Wonka. The American actor took to his Instagram handle to share the young version of popular author Roald Dahl’s character. He shared the picture on his social media handle on Sunday from the upcoming film ‘Wonka’ to be directed by Paul King.

The plot of this movie is co-written by King that basically revolves around the adventures of young Willy Wonka before he chooses to open the world’s famous chocolate factory.

Chalamet captioned the post as “The suspense is terrible, I hope it will last … WONKA”. He’s will be seen dancing and singing in a plethora of musical appearances. He’s now all set to appear in the film.

As per the update, David Heyman will be producing the film with Luke Kelly under the banner Heyday Films. Please note that ‘Wonka’ is going to be the 3rd film of Warner Bros’ which is inspired by Dahl’s novel titled ”Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”.

It was in the year 1971 when first big screen adaptation came. It had starred Gene Wilder as Wonka. The second film was released in 2005 and featured Johnny Depp in the same role.

Both these movies had actually followed Charlie Bucket who later wins a golden ticket to tour the world famous chocolate factory. Reports suggest that ‘Wonka’ is slated to make its debut theatrically on March 17, 2023.
