Looking at the reports, we can say that the rise of The Kashmir Files has started, especially when the film has started doing tremendously well at the box office.
Not only that, the audience is looking forward to watch the movie by selecting theatres of their own choice. Talking about numbers, the film has already recovered its cost.
The box office collection of The Kashmir Files on the first day happened to be Rs 3.55 crores.
But on Saturday, the Vivek Agnihotri film managed to double these numbers up to Rs 8.50 crores. However, on Sunday, it managed to cross the figure of Rs 14 crore. The total box office collection of The Kashmir Files now stands at Rs 26.05 crores.
As per the latest Bollywood news, the film was earlier planned to release at 500 screens but looking at the audience’s response, it was made to play at 700 screens from Friday.
Looking at the response from all sides, the shows were increased on Saturday and Sunday with more screens. As there are some more films released at this time like The Batman, Radhe Shyam and Gangubai Kathiawadi.
As per the response coming in from the audience, there are high chances that some screens from these films will get released.
And now, various film analysts are expecting that The Kashmir Files led by the star cast of Darshan Kumar and Anupam Kher is going to have more productive weekend ahead. And it won’t be surprising if the film surpass the mark of Rs 60 crore by the end of the first week.
If this comes true, The Kashmir Files will become the 4th highest Hindi grosser post COVID-19 pandemic after 83, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Sooryavanshi.
Right now, it will take some more time to analyze how the film will perform, especially when Bachchhan Paandey hits big screen on March 18, 2022.
‘The Kashmir Files’ Box Office Day 3: Anupam Kher-Starrer Registers 325% Growth
In terms of the growth percentage, Anupam Kher starrer has registered a whopping 325% growth which means that the film would make something big in the coming days. With that, the film has already raked up to Rs 27 crore at the box office so far.
The Kashmir Files is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits that happened in the year 1990s. The film is known to have raked in Rs 3.55 crore on its opening day, Rs 8.50 crore on Saturday and Rs 15.10 crore on Sunday.
