Thalapathy 67:You might remember the famous song ‘Apdi Podu’ that once created a hype among the audience. The song originally featured Trisha Krishnan and Thalapathy Vijay who starred in the film Ghilli.
Both the actors not only performed well but also helped the film to become a blockbuster with their fine acting skills.
Now, after a gap of 14 years, the two will be featured in Thalapathy 67 which is to be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Thalapathy 67: Trisha Krishnan & Thalapathy Vijay As ‘Apdi Podu’ couple to Return After 14 Years
The couple Vijay and Trisha who once featured in the blockbuster film Ghilli will now return on the big screen after a gap of 14 years.
Journalist Rajasekar, while confirming the news posted on Twitter about the duo making a comeback on the big screen in their film Thalapathy 67.

Please note that Thalapathy Vijay is gearing up for Varisu which will release in January. While the work for this film is already in progress, the actor also decided to work for the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial.
Due to this, it created a buzz tha tthe upcoming film will be a part of the LCU – Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
It’s expected that Karthi starrer Kaithi and Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil starrer Vikram, are both expected to be a part of this universe.
On the other hand Trisha Krishnan is currently riding high after the success of her film Ponniyin Selvan aka PS1. The actress is also known to have completed her OTT series debut Brinda where she plays the role of a cop.
Thalapathy 67 is most probably going to be an action entertainer. More details will be available in the future.
