Shah Rukh Khan’s (SRK’s) upcoming film Pathan has resumed shooting today. Fans must have been delighted to know this. It all happened today when the entire team of Pathan approached to the Yash Raj Studio to resume shooting for the film.
The shooting is expected to continue for 18 days. The film is being directed by Siddharth Anand and will mark the star’s comeback on the silver screen after a gap of 3 years.
It was in the year 2018 when Shah Rukh Khan last appeared in a film titled Zero, directed by Aanand L Rai. This film failed to perform at the box office an since then he didn’t sign any film.
As per a report published in a daily portal, Pathan is set to release on the holy occasion of Eid 2022. If the story is correct, then this is going to be the first time when SRK has taken such a long break in his career.
The report says that Pathan was earlier scheduled to release in January 2021. But the project had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 crisis in the country. The report further says that Pathan team will move to various overseas locations to complete the next sequence of shooting.
The film is expected to be complete by the month of August if everything goes well. Pathan also stars some other actors like Dimple Kapadia, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in their respective pivotal roles.
