Ryan Seacrest (renowned American personality) chose to share a BTS video of his first day on sets after he managed to prepare to become the most desired host of Wheel of Fortune this fall.
It all happened on on Tuesday, July 16, when the American Idol host gave fans a sneak peek on Instagram, showcasing some serious first-day-of-school excitement.
This is what Ryan Seacrest shared in the captiobn, “A glimpse of my first day at @wheeloffortune, and I’m still spinning with excitement!” he stated.

“Listen to the sound of this wheel, right? Iconic,” Seacrest commented right at the start of the the video after he spun the iconic wheel. “I find it soothing.”
In yet another clip, Seacrest arrived on stage and stated, “My heart’s pounding. I’m so excited.” When he witnessed the wheel in person for the first time, this is what he remarked, “The wheel’s maybe smaller than you’d expect,” before adding humorously, “So am I.”
After the day progressed, he chose to admit, “You see, I was quite excited and so, couldn’t sleep throughout the night.”
To wrap up the video, Seacrest swung a tote bag over his shoulder and held a stack of notebooks and binders while trying to click his heels together as he jumped. He then skipped away from the camera.
The entire excitement was also shared and expressed by Instagram users as well. As Seacrest officially took over after the final episode of Pat Sajak which is ending on June 7, it ended a phase of 40 years of hosting the beloved game show.
One fan was quick to comment, “It’s like your first day of school—so exciting! We’ll miss Pat, but can’t wait to see your debut!”
Another fan commented, “You’re excited? No, I’m excited! This is going to be epic—I can’t wait to see you on screen again!”
Wheel of Fortune is currently showing reruns on weekdays on ABC, but Seacrest looks all set to return for the most sought Season 42, this fall. (And rest assured, Vanna White will also be back!).
