Sometime back, it was reported that Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Ali Bhatt might tie their nuptial knot. But it couldn’t happen due to the Covid-19 crisis that forced them to postpone their wedding date.
Now, when everybody was getting an idea that they may tie the knot in December this year, it looks like the couple may take their wedding vows only in April 2022.
However, the month of December is fixed for Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal to take their wedding vows instead.
As Bollywood couples always keep their private life private, there is no official confirmation about the same.
Both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were seen attending Kali puja pandal in Mumbai during Diwali along with their Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji.
From there, rumors started developing regarding their wedding date. As per a news published in Daily, the couple may tie the knot in the mid of 2021.
During an interview last year, Ranbir had revealed that he would have already married to Alia if it was not for the pandemic. He had also stated that he wished to tick mark that goal very soon. While some say they might tie the knot in December, fans need to wait longer.
Another reason for postponing their wedding date is due to their packed schedules. It’s because the next few months are going to be tight for the couple as they have many projects in hand. As per a report, they have 4 films to be released by the next year. For example, they will be featured together in Brahmastra.
Alia has a few upcoming projects like Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Darlings, RRR and Gangubai Kathiawadi. On the other hand, Ranbr also has some like Brahmastra, Luv Ranjan’s untitled film, Shamshera and Animal.
It looks like they are intended to first complete these assignments before going into the wedding groove.
This is what an insider stated, “Beyond work commitments, the Kapoors love their family, and it’s a huge one. It will be a grand affair, and next year seems like a safer choice given the pandemic scare as well. It will also buy some time for their bungalow (Krishna Raj) renovation work,” he said.
A few days back, the couple was also spotted at a construction site with Neetu Kapoor. Although, there is no official confirmation regarding their wedding, it would be wise enough to wait for some time to get any confirmation.
