Everyone got surprised when Priyanka Chopra dropped Jonas surname from her official social media handles Twitter and Instagram.
It ignited rum ours of her divorce with husband Nick Jonas after staying married for three years. After the controversy started taking an ugly shape, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra had to come forward to deny them.
The controversy started when Priyanka Chopra decided to remove surname “Jonas” from all her social media handles to move ahead with her first name in her future assignments. The actress not only dropped Jonas but also Chopra from all official social media handles.
On November 22, the actress chose to drop the character poster of The Matrix Resurrections which has been co-written and directed by Lana Wachowski. The film stars Jada Pinkett Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss and Keanu Reeves who are known to have reprised their roles from previous one in the series where they are joined by Christina Ricci, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Groff, Jessica Henwick and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.
Priyanka’s upcoming movie The Matrix Resurrections is going to be a joint venture by Venus Castina Productions and Village Roadshow Pictures. It’s slated to release by Warner Bros. on December 22, 2021.
As per the makers, the film also be released on digital platforms on the ad-free tier of HBO Max in the US for a month which will begin on the same date as above.
