Fierce and Fast-Paced: The Predator franchise dives into animation, weaving intense, linked stories—streaming on Hulu this June
Set to arrive on Hulu this June 6, Predator: Killer of Killers is a new animated sci-fi action anthology.
The release date was confirmed by creators Micho Robert Rutare and Dan Trachtenberg, who unveiled a teaser on Hulu’s YouTube channel on April 8.
Trailer Highlights
Rooted in the Predator Universe alongside classics like Predator (1987) and Alien vs. Predator (2004), this animated feature brings a new dimension to the franchise.
Produced by The Third Floor, the film weaves together three adrenaline-charged stories, each cantered on fearless warriors confronting the deadly Predator.
The latest trailer teases a visually intense style, blending graphic violence with fast-paced action to push the mythology even further.
The plot unfolds across three gripping arcs: a Viking warrior leading her son on a vengeful path soaked in blood, a Ninja in feudal Japan clashing with his Samurai brother in a fierce struggle for power, and a World War II pilot who soars into battle after encountering a mysterious alien menace threatening the Allied forces.
The Creative Team
Written by Micho Robert Rutare and inspired by characters originally created by John and James Thomas, Predator: Killer of Killers is directed by Dan Trachtenberg. The film features voice performances from Michael Biehn, Rick Gonzalez, and Louis Ozawa Changchien.
Expanding Predator Universe
The reveal of this animated feature also marks the second Predator franchise release confirmed for this year.
The first, Predators: Badlands, a live-action film starring Elle Fanning as Thia, is set to hit theatres in November.
Just last week at CinemaCon, Fanning shared that her character teams up with the Predator rather than fleeing from it, adding a unique twist to the saga.
