Marvel’s upcoming series ‘Moon Knight’ starring Oscar Isaac in the lead role is already launched.
The surprise launch of the teaser comes ahead of the official trailer launch of the series on Monday. It will happen at the time of the NFL Super Wild Card matchup.
Moon Knight Trailer: Oscar Isaac Embraces Madness
The teaser launched on Sunday shows Oscar as Marc Spector where he becomes the human avatar of Khonshu, who’s also known as the Egyptian god of the moon.
As per sources, Marc Spector will play the role of a former US marine and having a dissociative identity disorder (DID).
This kind of behavior draws into some kind of awkward supernatural conflicts while becoming the conduit for the Egyptian god. Due to his different identities at all time, Spector gets transformed to a vigilante, Moon Knight.
In addition to this, fans are also expected to have Ethan Hawke playing the role of a villain.
It was in 2016 when Issac starred in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’. He’s a Golden Globe winner who’s also credited to have played the role of Resistance fighter Poe Dameron in the just concluded ‘Star Wars’ trilogy.
Looking at the trailer, Marvel fans are impressed ahead of the series. This is what users have to say, “This looks like it’s gonna be a mind bender for sure,” wrote a fan.” Another wrote, “This is looking incredible, I’m so glad they’re going with a psychological horror rather than the typical formulaic superhero themes which we’re accustomed to. Oscar Isaac is perfect in this role and I’m so exited to see more of him.”
In addition to the above, Moon Knight also stars May Calamawy. Mohamed Diab and Ethan Hawke along with the duo Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson who have directed these episodes.
Marvel recently had world’s two big releases Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings, Eternals and Spider-Man:No Way Home. The film became the world’s biggest hit collecting over $1.5 billion worldwide.
