Marakkar release: After making a grand theatrical release, superstar Mohanlal’s Marakkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham is expected to debut on Amazon Prime Video.
Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is basically a war movie starring Mohanlal is slated to release on Amazon rime Video. It’s a war drama titled Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea which is expected to premiere on December 17, 2021, right after a gap of 14 days after its theatrical release.
The series is directed by Priyadarshan. Please note that Marakkar happens to be the costliest film in Malayalam cinema having a budget of Rs 100 crore. Although, the film was originally released on December 2, it’s still making a huge collection at the box office.
The film stars Siddique, Manju Warrier, Suniel Shetty and Arjun Sarja in their respective pivotal roles.
Marakkar Release Date and Time on Amazon Prime Video
It was on Monday when Amazon Prime Video announced that Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea will release on Amazon Prime. This is what the official Twitter account of Amazon Prime Video tweeted:

Th report says that Marakkar is expected to premiere at 12:00 am IST on Dec 17, 2021. But we have seen most films and shows get premiered on December 16, 2021. The entire film will be available in languages like Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.

The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
The above period drama was originally set in 16th century which happens to be a biopic of Kunjali Marakkar IV. He’s the first Naval Chief of India showing his fight against the Portuguese invaders.
It’s directed by Priyadarshan. The film has so far managed to win 3 awards including Best Costume Design, Best Special Effects and Best Feature Film in the recently held 67th National Film Awards.
