In the presence of the ongoing crisis due to COVID-19 pandemic, Bollywood is expected to release as many as seven films directly on OTT platforms.
In the recent past, we have seen how film makers seem interested to release their creations on Amazon Prime.
But now, Disney and Hotstar have collaborated with the leading film producers and makers to have their films released on their online platforms.
In the below mentioned list of the most recent movies list, we are going to enlist 7 films that will be streamed on Hotstar and Disney.
As per an earlier update, Akshay Kumar’s film Laxmi Bomb was to be released only in theaters.
But at the moment, it looks like things are quite clear and precise at this stage. There is no confusion left that Laxmi Bomb among others to be released on Disney and Hotstar.

Laxmi Bomb
Laxmi Bomb happens to be one of the most anticipating films waiting for its release on Disney and Hotstar. Earlier, the fans kept insisting that the Akshay Kumar starrer should only be released in theaters.
But now, they have decided to go for its OTT release. Laxmi Bomb is directed by Raghava Lawrence who wanted to release the film in the month of May.
The makers earlier planned to release Laxmi Bomb in the month of May to be the big Eid surprise for fans. But all of their plans could not convert into reality due to the intervention of COVID-19.
Sadak 2
Sadak 2 is one of the upcoming films produced by Mahesh Bhatt featuring Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur in their crucial roles.
Earlier, Mahesh Bhatt was spotted saying that he has no other option but to release Sadak 2 on OTT platforms.
As of now, there is still one or two days shooting left for the film. It’s expected that it will be released either in the month of July or August.
Bhuj: The Pride of India
It’s another big Bollywood release which is going to happen on Hotstar and Disney in the time to come.
The movie is not going to release in theaters but will be released directly on OTT platforms.
The film stars Ajay Devgn that depicts the India Pakistan war of 1971. The film is directed by Vijay Dudhaiya.
Apart from Ajay Devgn, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Ammy Virk and many others in their pivotal roles.
Dil Bechara
It’s a film directed by Mukesh Chhabra featuring late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who committed suicide on June 14, 2020. The film is set to release on Disney and Hotstar on July 24, 2020.
The female lead who is featured along with Sushant is Sanjana Sanghi who marks her debut from this film.
Dil Bechara will be available free to public as a mark of respect towards Sushant Singh Rajput.
The Big Bull
It’s one of the bhishek Bachchan starrer film to be based on the stock broker Harshad Mehta.
The film is directed by Kookie Gulati and is produced by Ajay Devgn.
Lootcase
Lootcase is going to be a comedy film starring Rasika Dugal and Kunal Kemu in their lead characters.
Apart from them Vijay Raaz and Ranvir Shorey are seen in their supporting roles.
The film basically revolves around a red colored suitcase which is produced by Fox Star Studios and directed by Rajesh Krishnan.
Khuda Haafiz
This romantic thriller movie stars Vidyut Jammwal and Shvalika Oberoi in their lead roles.
