On the film’s first anniversary, Kunal took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message, reflecting on his journey and teasing exciting updates about his next project. “Happy Birthday Madgaon Express… it’s already been a year!!
I must tell more stories, especially since I’ve finished writing the next one. More on that soon. For now, just a huge thank you to all of you and everyone who was part of Madgaon Express,” he wrote.
IIFA Win & Sincere Tribute
Just ahead of the anniversary, Kunal’s accomplishment was celebrated at the IIFA Awards 2024, where he took home the Best Debut Director award.
Filled with gratitude, he shared a heartfelt Instagram post, dedicating the recognition to his team, family, and fans. “Aaila, IIFA!! I’m still debuting / Thank you so much @iifa for this incredible honor (Best Directorial Debut) for Madgaon Express,” he wrote.
